Uno de mis lugares favoritos de mi casa es el patio, especialmente durante el verano ya que pasamos mucho tiempo ahí con los niños. Así que este verano decidí hacerle unos pequeños cambios que todos vamos a disfrutar al máximo!

Hacer otro mucho más grande. En Home Depot también encontré todos los Fresh Herbs que necesitaba para hacer este Julias fresh garden una realidad. Luego decidí que podía utilizar un pedazo de mi patio para plantar unos vegetales y frutas como tomate, berenjena, piña. Para esto vi un video de como hacerlo yo misma en la aplicación de Home Depot y quede asombrada de lo fácil que fue hacerlo, así que si tienen algún proyecto que no saben por dónde empezar les recomiendo estos videos. One of my favorite places in my house is my patio, especially during the summer since we spend a lot of time there with our children. So this summer, I decided to make a few small changes that we are all going to enjoy to the fullest! I couldn't have done this without the help of The Home Depot and their mobile app which guided me through the process with how-to videos, and saved me time and money through free delivery.
I started with adding fresh herbs since as you know I really like to cook and having these spices on hand is such an advantage. I found these raised gardens at Home Depot and they are perfect for your starter garden. With a bit more learning, I can have an even bigger garden in the future. At Home Depot, I also found all the fresh herbs I needed to make “Julia’s fresh garden” a reality. I found a spot in my patio and planted some vegetables and fruits like tomato, eggplant, and pineapple. To do this, I watched an instructional video in the Home Depot application and I was amazed at how easy it was to do it! La gente siempre me pregunta porque no tengo una piscina en la casa y la verdad me da miedo porque los niños son todavía muy pequeños, así que se me ocurrió la idea de tener un Jacuzzi y fue de las mejores ideas que he tenido. Pero no solo quería un jacuzzi, quería que se sintiera como parte de un resort, como si estuviéramos en vacaciones, así que ordene también una pérgola ( la cual pude armar yo sola ) y para darle un poco de privacidad use unos paredes de gardenias que le dio el toque perfecto! Además use unas luces LED solares para iluminarlo por la noche. Ahora no solo los niños lo van a disfrutar, sino que mi esposo y yo podemos tener un jacuzzi date en la noche también :) Lo mejor de todos estos proyectos es que lo que sea que se me vaya ocurriendo lo voy pidiendo online en Home Depot ya que ellos ofrecen delivery gratis en la mayoría de las cosas y también envío el mismo día en otras lo que lo hace super conveniente.
People always ask me why I don't have a pool in the house and the truth is that I'm scared because my children are still very young, so I came up with the idea of having a Jacuzzi and it was one of the best ideas I've ever had. But I didn't just want a jacuzzi, I wanted it to feel like part of a resort…like we were on vacation. So, I also ordered a pergola (which I could put together myself) and to give it a bit of privacy I used ivy walls that gave the perfect touch! Also use some solar LED lights to illuminate it at night. Now, not only the children are going to enjoy it, but my husband and I can have a jacuzzi date at night too :) The best thing about all these projects is that whatever comes to mind, I know that I would choose to order online at Home Depot since they offer free delivery and same day shipping on most items, which makes it any project super convenient.

Al ver lo bien que quedó el privacy wall en el jacuzzi decidí que haría otro para el otro lado de mi patio, para crear un ambiente más acogedor en el comedor de patio, y lo hice combinando dos estructuras, una de metal y el Gardenia Wall, luego le puse un poco de luces y quedó demasiado hermoso! Realmente quedé feliz con los pequeños cambios que hice que al final terminaron haciendo una gran diferencia en mi patio y en el cual seguiremos construyendo momentos como familia!
Seeing how good the privacy wall in the jacuzzi was, I decided that I would make another one for the other side of my patio, to create a more welcoming atmosphere in the patio dining room, and I did it by combining two structures, one of metal and the other the ivy wall. I then added some lights on it as the final touch. I am really happy with the small changes I made because in the end, it ended up making a big difference in my patio in which we will continue to create beautiful memories as a family!
